Tyler Patterson is an intern at The Skillman Foundation through Cass Technical High School’s Co-Op program. In this role, Tyler supports the operations team and is responsible for managing the front desk, monitoring office supplies, and ensuring all facilities are prepared for meetings.

Tyler is a graduate of Cass Technical High School in Detroit. Her favorite subject is English and the thing she likes about her high school the most is that it actually prepares students for the real world.

Tyler plans to attend Spelman College to gain a bachelor’s degree in English before going on to earn a law degree.

Passionate about serving her community, Tyler wants to become a criminal defense lawyer with a concentration in juvenile cases. Her goal is to prevent Detroit’s youth from being on the wrong side of America’s justice system.
