Siobhan O’Laoire is a program officer, supporting the Education impact area. Prior to this role, she served as an associate program officer and as an evaluation and learning fellow within the Foundation’s Office of the President.
Siobhan holds a master’s degree in social work from the University of Michigan where she focused on community organizing and social systems. Her bachelor’s degree is in social work and educational studies from Michigan State University. Prior to joining The Skillman Foundation, she held a variety of roles in the social sector, ranging from conducting early childhood education research to working as a summer camp counselor. Her passion for social justice and social change efforts brought her to the field of philanthropy.
Outside of work, she enjoys yoga, cooking, and keeping up on the latest research on the science of learning.
