Nechelle Laferriere is the Youth Program Manager with American Indian Health and Family Services reaching Native youth and other youth in the Metro Detroit area. Nechelle takes a stand to educate youth on the importance in knowing one’s history and cultural identity because “Culture is Prevention” and prevention of any kind saves lives.
