Kate Stevens is a high school science teacher with New Paradigm for Education. Before moving to the big city (i.e. Detroit), Kate spent more than a decade teaching in the Upper Peninsula, where she taught a significant population of Native students. She is a true science nerd and a rebellious, radical teacher who sometimes has half her head shaved, her nose pierced, builds and races cars — and day-in and day-out gives her all to her students!
