Courtney Wise Randolph

Courtney Wise Randolph is a native Detroiter and storyteller, earning a living by helping others tell their stories—through real estate, on the page, and with audio. She began her freelance career after 14 years in nonprofit programming, communications, and development. Courtney is the host of COVID Diaries: Stories of Resilience, a 2020 project between WDET and Documenting Detroit which won an Edward R. Murrow Award for Excellence in Innovation. Her recent work has appeared in Detour Detroit, Outlier Media, BridgeDetroit, the Detroit Free Press, Michigan Quarterly Review, and Black in the Middle: An Anthology of the Black Midwest, one of the St. Louis Post Dispatch’s Best Books of 2020.
