This grant will support the YMCA to provide high-quality and high-impact afterschool experiences within safe, supportive, and engaging environments across a minimum of four Detroit Public School Community District locations to 130 Detroit youth ages 14-19 that will strengthen social, emotional, and high school and post-secondary readiness skill development; provide college and career exposure and engagement opportunities; and strengthen youth voice and power efficacy in participants.
