Insert response hereWe will take each adult through our “Stress Free Teaching” or “Stress Free Parenting/Care Giving” course which is designed to help adults develop strategies to ensure their own wellness so that they are as whole as possible and have enough to give when working with young people. This course in developing sustainable self-care habits, including exercise, healthy eating, meditating, etc has proven to be effective in changing the overall well-being for those who have attended in the past. As a part of this course, each participant will have access to online resources and other classes (Yoga, breathing, mediation, etc) to help them learn how to care for themselves. Each participant will create their own wellness plan and receive a pack of resources to help them execute on their plan. We will also share research and information about where young people are at this moment so that they are prepared to meet them where they are. Lastly, we will employ trauma-informed teaching techniques to ensure that instructors are mindful of strategies that can help them better reach students.
With respect to students, we will design a similar course for them around sustainable self-care and work with each student to develop a plan for him/her to restore themselves and ensure that they are managing their own wellness. As a part of this course, each participant will have access to online resources and other classes (Yoga, breathing, mediation, etc) to help them learn how to care for themselves. Each student will also receive a journal and a pack of resources to help them execute their plan.
