This grant provides seed building support to the Institute of AfroUrbanism (IAU)—a Detroit-based, Black-woman owned think tank and action lab—to support the development of the Black Thriving Index (BTI), a grassroots qualitative tool that will measure and analyze the well-being of Black Detroiters.
