This grant provides continued support to The Yunion to engage 75 African American males, ages 6-17, with high-quality and high impact expanded learning experiences within safe, supportive, and engaging environments. Utilizing the Cave of Adullam Transformational Training Academy (CATTA), these experiences will serve to strengthen key social and emotional skills that lead to academic and post-secondary success, through summer 2022 and school year 2022-23. CATTA will also engage parents/families in a series of trauma-informed learning and development opportunities that positively impact program and school attendance for participants.
