The Skillman Foundation

This grant will enable Student Advocacy Center (SAC), a critical support to students and families facing school disciplinary actions and those enrolled in exceptional student education, to strengthen the referral network that provides such students and families with supports, uplift student power and voice at Cody High School and Covenant House Academy – Southwest, boost advocacy efforts to address school discipline at the state level, and bolster the organization’s efforts to sustain its work in Detroit into the future.
