The Skillman Foundation

This grant enabled an innovative partnership between StandardsWork, Detroit Public Schools Community District (DPSCD), and two other national partners (Student Achievement Partners and Teaching Lab) to strengthen implementation of the newly adopted literacy curriculum (EL Education) for grades K-8. This effort, one of the first in the nation, will define the key components of daily lessons built from the EL curriculum that will become the basis of a suite of resource guides, coaching aids and training tools to help teachers deliver course content with fidelity as they build their own mastery.
