This grant will support Black August, an event to reflect, to learn, honor and to celebrate Black freedom fighters. Funds raised are being used to increase awareness of mental health illnesses, reduce the stigma of mental health, and promote the importance of emotional wellness in maintaining mental health in underserved communities.
