This grant will support SAY Detroit to engage 200 Detroit youth, grades K-12, with high-quality and high-impact expanded learning experiences within safe, supportive, and engaging environments. These experiences will serve to strengthen social, emotional, and high-school and post-secondary skill development through summer 2022 and school year 2022-23. The grant will connect youth with positive adults who will provide tutoring and homework assistance, athletics, college readiness programming and support, with wrap around supports and resources designed to increase school attendance.
