This grant will support the Thanksgiving Parade Float Design Contest for 2023. This annual event showcases the talent of Detroit youth and highlights The Skillman Foundation’s vision of supporting Detroit youth to design bold destinies. Through the contest, students in grades four through eight are invited to create and submit their ideas to be displayed in the Foundation’s float featured in America’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
