This grant will provide continued general operating support that enables the Michigan Council on Crime and Delinquency d/b/a Michigan Center for Youth Justice (MCYJ) to explore and promote changes in juvenile justice including setting standards for school resource officers, solidifying connections between juvenile courts and Michigan Works programs, and monitoring and assisting with overall systemic issues that arise from the state’s Juvenile Justice Task Force and keeping young people out of adult court.
