The Skillman Foundation

This grant will continue to support Michigan Afterschool Partnership (MASP) to champion statewide access to quality and equitable out-of-school time (OST) programs, through policy advocacy and power building efforts across the state. This grant, in partnership with the Ralph C. Wilson Jr Foundation and the C.S. Mott Foundation, will support an increase internal capacity at Michigan Department of Education’s (MDE) Office of Preschool and Out-of-School Time Learning to equitably distribute increases in monetary resources to OST providers across Michigan. This investment will deepen MASP’s presence in Detroit and expand pathways for Detroit providers to advocate for statewide OST funding
