Last Mile Education Fund

This grant provides early funding to establish the Detroit Area Talent Fund (DATF), a partnership between the Last Mile Education Fund, the Detroit Regional Chamber, Michigan Education Excellence Foundation, and Rocket Community Fund. DATF will provide rapid-response emergency grants to high-potential students to help them complete their post-secondary education.
Qualified students can receive Last Mile’s rapid emergency financial assistance mini-grants, limited to one $599 award per student per calendar year, to support their educational progress and help overcome unexpected financial obstacles to persistence.
