This grant will support the Voices of Youth program to lift up youth voices and to develop a habit of civic engagement, all through the medium of local journalism. By leveraging our journalism experts as mentors, we will teach youth, with a focus on youth of color, basic journalism skills while amplifying their voice in issues that matter most to them and encouraging greater civic awareness and participation.
