This grant will support the STREAM Girls program to engage young people in Metro-Detroit on a field trip out to Rouge river, with a focus on reaching middle school-aged girls in historically underserved and underrepresented communities. This will give opportunities for riverside place-based education that is designed to excite young girls about the natural sciences
