This grant contributes to the Unified Greenway campaign, a partnership between the City of Detroit, Detroit Riverfront Conservancy, and Joe Louis Greenway Partnership to support the development of the landmark Joe Louis Greenway, completion of the Detroit Riverfront, and ensure the sustainable stewardship of these landmark spaces. The Joe Louis Greenway Partnership, recently established, will serve as the steward for a nearly 30-mile loop that will connect Detroiters to diverse communities, social programs, civic assets, and economic opportunities.
