This grant will enable Detroit 90/90 charter leadership team to accelerate their academic and climate and culture strategic plan, which is grounded in culturally responsive education, for University Prep Schools (UPrep) (K-12). This grant is one of four visioning grants grounded in building and advancing Black leadership power in the education landscape and establishing trusted partnerships with The Skillman Foundation. It provides unrestricted capital to design and implement innovative solutions to the challenges Black charter leaders face in the current pandemic and broader education context.
