This grant will support the Concert of Colors: Detroit Diversity Festival (COC), which has been taking place in the heart of downtown Detroit for more than three decades, is a highly visible community-building event that celebrates the diversity of our region through immersive musical, artistic, and spoken word performances and programming. With a hyperlocal focus and international reach, the COC is designed to generate greater community solidarity and social capital, particularly among Detroit’s underserved populations.
