Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan

$40,000.00

Public spaces, be they parks, trails, nature preserves, or civic commons, bring people together and break down boundaries that tend to divide us. Free, accessible, and well programmed spaces can promote healthy living, enhance quality of life, and provide opportunities to learn about nature and the importance of environmental stewardship. The Mariam C. Noland Public Spaces Fund will build on the Community Foundation’s long legacy of supporting the construction, maintenance, and programming of public spaces that draw people together in southeast Michigan.
