This grant will support Co.act Detroit to connect youth-serving, BIPOC-led (organizational leadership or majority BIPOC Board of Directors) nonprofits through a grassroots re-granting program to monetary resources that impact organizational operations that contribute to programmatic outcomes, leadership development, wellness, and other resources to grow the respective organizations. In partnership with the Detroit Youth Development Resource Center (YDRC) and the Black Executive Directors Alliance of Detroit (BEDAD), Co.act Detroit will facilitate a participatory grant-making process that includes youth and community partners in the design, execution, and evaluation of the grant making process. The grant making will focus on youth-serving non-profit organizations with revenues of less than $300,000.
