This grant will continue support to Co.act Detroit to connect youth-serving, BIPOC-led (organizational leadership or majority BIPOC Board of Directors) nonprofits through a grassroots re-granting program to provide monetary resources that impact organizational operations that contribute to programmatic outcomes, leadership development, wellness, and other resources to grow the respective organizations. In partnership with the Detroit Youth Development Resource Center (YDRC) and the Black Executive Directors Alliance of Detroit (BEDAD), Co.act Detroit will continue facilitation of a participatory grant-making process that will provide support to five youth-serving nonprofit organizations with revenues of less than $300,000 with operational support, leadership development, and the execution of a wellness project
