This grant will enable City Year-Detroit (CYD) to continue to strengthen programming and impact on student outcomes by providing the Whole School Whole Child (WSWC) Program. This program provides students attending targeted 11 Detroit Public School Community District (DPSCD) schools with essential academic, attendance, and social-emotional skill development support. Building from an initial $1.4M two-year joint investment, a portion of this grant will sustain high school transition supports at Cody High School in partnership with Cody Rouge Partnership initiative funders. The third-year partnership commitment will deepen WSWC intervention for ninth graders.
