This grant continues operating support to Brilliant Detroit (BD) to strengthen the reach and impact of 313Reads!, Detroit’s Campaign for Grade Level Reading. It will enable and expand community efforts in three areas that have the greatest impact on third-grade reading proficiency: early literacy, school attendance, and school year and summer literacy supports. BD will continue coordinating organizations, resources, and supports through cross-sector partnerships that accelerate community-wide efforts to improve third-grade proficiency across Detroit.
