The Skillman Foundation

This grant will enable BFDI Educational Services (BES) network level leadership team to plan and
implement a digital learning approach that will provide students access to relevant and rigorous
curriculum to strengthen academic performance at Hope Academy (Pre-K-8). This grant is part of one of
four visioning grants grounded in building and advancing Black leadership power in the education
landscape and establishing trusted partnerships with The Skillman Foundation. It will provide
unrestricted capital to design and implement innovative solutions to the challenges Black charter
leaders face in the current pandemic and broader education context.
