This grant will sponsor ARISE Detroit’s Neighborhoods Day to celebrate all the great work block clubs, churches, schools, community groups and local businesses do throughout the year in the effort to create a better Detroit. Neighborhoods Day events are held all over the city on the same day, showing off the work of and serving needs in neighborhoods – such as community cleanups, parades, workshops on various issues, youth events and concerts, health fairs, picnics, etc.
