This grant will support the next iteration of program offerings for educators, leaders and youth that supports education officials in reflection, healing, and creating cultures of care within learning spaces. This grant will continue to extend People in Education’s (PIE) programming capacity and offerings to Detroit youth, teachers, and education leaders to meet the growing demand. The organization will continue to offer teachers professional learning through the Rida Institute and deepen youth-led learning through the Artist in Residence (AIR) program. The organization will continue with Radical Wellness for Leaders Program, a program centered on the wellness and leadership development for Detroit educational leaders.
