Mourning the Loss of Child & Education Advocate Brian Whiston
We are heartbroken to hear that Brian Whiston, Michigan’s state superintendent of schools, has passed away.
Brian was a tremendous advocate for children and partner to educators. His passing is a great loss to schools and to families in our state. We will remember his dedication and leadership, and will honor his memory by continuing to serve the best interests of our schoolchildren.
