This grant enables Wellspring to provide virtual and/or in-person literacy services to 250 kindergarten through fourth grade students with a focus on students in the Brightmoor community. This will occur through a four?pronged effort including serving more students through traditional on-site model as well as through partnerships with Gompers K-8, Old Redford Academy, Detroit Community School, and neighborhood early learning centers.
