This grant continues support to Urban Neighborhood Initiatives (UNI) to stabilize and expand its school partnerships with schools (DPSCD and charter) in Southwest Detroit to provide 400 K-12 students with individualized academic resources, social-emotional well-being supports, activities that increase academic outcomes, and student and family engagement during the 2022-23 school year and summer 2022. This will also expand workforce development opportunities to high school students on the brink of school disconnection to support their reengagement in school.
