This grant will provide operating support Outlier Media, a BIPOC-led Detroit-based nonprofit news organization, to offer news and information to Detroit residents. It will cover local public meetings using its network of citizen journalists, the Detroit Documenters, and engaging directly with Detroit residents to understand their needs and ensure Detroit youth and families are included in public policy and decision making
