This grant continues support and expansion for Hope Network Michigan Education Corps (MEC), to provide reading and math tutoring for students in kindergarten through sixth grade at Detroit Public Schools Community District (DPSCD) schools and enables new partnerships with Detroit Academy of Arts and Sciences (DAAS) and Hope Academy charter schools. As schools continue to navigate the complexities of providing consistent quality personalized learning time for students, MEC will continue to serve as invaluable to school partners in providing complementary in-school kindergarten-through-eighth-grade literacy and fourth-through-eighth-grade math interventions
