This grant will continue to support Detroit Food & Entrepreneurship Academy (DFA) to offer a pathway for young people in its afterschool, advanced, and summer leadership programs to middle school, high school, and recent graduates across the city. It will engage 160 youth in developing leadership, culinary skills, and business, promoting career exposure and readiness, learning alongside food business mentors, and applying insights to their food business projects.
