This grant will support Catchafire to launch a local platform, specific for The Skillman Foundation, that will connect 200 Detroit-area youth-serving nonprofit organizations with virtual, short-term, pro-bono support. Catchafire offers nearly 300 capacity-building options, provided by a national network of more than 12 million consultants, approximately 48,000 of which are in the Detroit area. This pilot will target organizational capacity gaps in the local afterschool ecosystem, leading to improved program quality and impact for youth participants.
