This grant continues support the Youth Development Resource Center (YDRC) to champion local access to high quality out of school time (OST) experiences through capacity building, policy advocacy and power building efforts, in Detroit, and across the state of Michigan. This grant will continue support of an expanded citywide provider network, with the aim of cultivating provider power and advocacy (with a focus on BIPOC-led organizations) that contributes to city, regional, and statewide efforts to increase dedicated public funding, additional resources, and partnerships that positively impact Detroit’s afterschool ecosystem.
