The Skillman Foundation

This grant will provide continued support to the Michigan Education Justice Coalition (MEJC), a statewide network of organizations committed to advocating for equitable public education policies and funding to create safe and healthy learning environments in which young people can thrive. This grant enables the organization to continue uplifting the voices of parents, youth, and educators and building their capacity as education justice advocates. This year, MEJC will focus on deepening power-building among parents, caregivers, and youth and strengthen their input with decision-makers on education policy.
