This grant provides general operating support to 482Forward to continue to engage Detroit students, parents, and educators in education organizing focused on systems change through intentional power building. 482Forward will work in 2024 to increase the number of parents and students active in education organizing. They will focus on leading intentional campaigns, member engagement around education issues in 2024 elections, and launching new training opportunities to strengthen the organizing skillsets of staff and members.
