This grant sponsors the DPSCD (Detroit Public Schools Community District) Arts Olympiad which aims to grow awareness of teachers and parents about the importance of cultivating students’ creativity and the critical role that art plays in fostering creativity. The DPSCD Arts Olympiad will be implemented in 61 elementary and middle schools that cater to approximately 25,000 8- to 12-year-olds.
