This grant will support the Generation of Promise program, one of Focus: HOPE’s critical Youth Development program offerings, working to advance diversity, antiracism, social justice, and racial equity in Metropolitan Detroit. Through a highly competitive process, the program annually convenes a culturally and socioeconomically diverse cohort of (60) 11th grade students from 15 high schools across Metro Detroit to engage in team-building and experiential learning around diversity, coalition building, and social justice.
