The Skillman Foundation

This general operating support grant provides continued support to the Council of Michigan Foundations’ (CMF) strategic leadership to support the activation and engagement of the philanthropic sector to inform and influence public policy with a commitment to equity. Specifically, this grant supports staffing of the Office of the Foundation Liaison (OFL) within the Executive Office project management supports to the ongoing efforts of the Southeast Early Childhood Funders’ Collaborative to provide supports to vulnerable children and families in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb Counties and better link early childhood and education systems, and contributes to the capacity building of CMF’s Leadership Fund to enable capacity and learning of the philanthropic sector to lead with equity at the center, aligned to CMF’s strategic plan.
