This grant will support a collaboration with The Skillman Foundation to again provide the “Director’s Choice” Exhibition Program. At the end of each program year, CAP worked with Skillman to select the best student work from throughout the College’s youth arts programs spanning the City of Detroit for temporary exhibit in the Skillman offices. Student artwork was selected both as a unique expression of Detroit student voice, as well as artistic talent. This work was then professionally framed and installed and was celebrated with a reception and awards ceremony at Skillman along with $50 gift cards.
