Mary Beth Baumeister serves as a grants manager, ensuring compliance with legal, auditing and Foundation standards.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Mary Beth worked at the Detroit Land Bank Authority where she developed processes to improve the disposition of properties and helped buyers move through the purchase and closing processes. She has a background in early childcare and administration and has been involved in many Detroit city initiatives, including the Living Cities Initiative, Woodward Corridor Initiative and other projects through the United Way for Southeastern Michigan. Mary Beth holds a Bachelor of Science degree in child development with a minor in business administration from Madonna University.
