Denise Ilitch is president of Ilitch Enterprises, owner of Denise Ilitch Designs, and the owner and publisher of Ambassador Magazine, a leading Detroit lifestyle magazine. She is also of counsel at Clark Hill PLC, where she advises clients in the areas of business practice, corporate law, and government policy.
She serves on the Board of Regents of the University of Michigan and has served on the board of the Detroit Branch of the NAACP, was a Detroit Red Wings Alternate Governor for the National Hockey League, and was a board member of Major League Baseball. She has received the B’nai B’rith International Great American Traditions Award, the American Red Cross’ Clara Barton Award, and University of Detroit Mercy Law School’s Alumnus of the Year. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in 1977 and her juris doctorate from the University of Detroit in 1980.
