Fisher Foundation to release results of early childhood study
DETROIT -- The Max M. and Marjorie S. Fisher Foundation will announce results of the "Detroit's One-Child School Readiness Dividend" study at a news conference at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The Skillman Foundation and 24 other organizations partnered with the Fisher Foundation in endorsing this study, which examines the return on investment for high-quality early childhood education.
Fisher Foundation vice chairs Julie Fisher Cummings and Phillip Wm. Fisher will attend the media event at the YMCA Detroit Leadership Academy, as well as Children of the Rising Sun owner/director Zina M. Davis, Wilder Research senior research manager Richard A. Chase, PNC Financial Services Group regional president Richard DeVore, and Susan Broman, director of the Michigan's Office of Great Start.
