DETROIT - Chris Uhl joins The Skillman Foundation as the program director for changemaking.
Uhl previously worked as the vice president of commercial banking at PNC, and has served on the board for United Way for Southeastern Michigan. He was also a past chair of United Way's Leadership Next organization.
Uhl has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Central Michigan and an MBA from Wayne State University.
Created in 1960, The Skillman Foundation is a private philanthropy whose chief aim is to help develop good schools and good neighborhoods for children. Though grants are made throughout metropolitan Detroit, most grants are directed at six Detroit neighborhoods -- Chadsey/Condon, Southwest Detroit, Brightmoor, Osborn, and Cody/Rouge and the Northend -- and toward innovative and successful schools throughout the city of Detroit.
