Carol Goss Promoted to Vice President, Program

Ms. Goss served as Senior Program Officer since March 1998. In her new role as Vice President, Program, she will work directly with the president to manage the foundation's grant-making activities.

Prior to joining The Skillman Foundation, Ms. Goss was program officer at The Stuart Foundation in San Francisco, California, and Program Director at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation in Battle Creek, Michigan. A graduate of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, she has an A.B. in Sociology and a Masters in Social Work. Ms. Goss has more than 25 years experience in the human service field as social worker, social work supervisor and agency administrator. Her experience in the field includes child welfare, family services and youth development. An active member of Grantmakers for Children, Youth and Families, the Association of Black Foundation Executives, and Women & Philanthropy, Ms. Goss lives in Detroit.
