Danielle Olekszyk , chief financial officer and treasurer, joined the Foundation in 2004 as the accounting manager, was promoted to controller and assistant treasurer in 2005, and to CFO and treasurer in 2008. Prior to joining the Foundation, she worked as a consultant for the Detroit-based consulting firm, AlixPartners, LLC and as an auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP. She also served as adjunct faculty at the University of Michigan .

Olekszyk is responsible for the oversight of the Foundation’s financial and administrative systems, including accounting, legal, human resources and facilities management.

Olekszyk is a CPA and has a bachelor’s and Master of Accounting degrees from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. A native of Sterling Heights, she currently lives with her husband, daughters and son in Bloomfield Hills.
